Madness

Glass wings shatter so easily.
Drenched with crimson light,
They dance with silver moons
In dark shadows of night.

Laughing, their white teeth gleam
Like broken dolls smiling
In fragile broken dreams,
With fragments of shards piling.

All toys splinter and break.
They litter the garden ground
With scarlet roses adorning
And one single, growling hound.

Lose yourself in confusion.
Dance the steps of insanity.
Grow beautiful, shining black wings,
Ignorance in poison vanity.

Chains that which screech
Howl and scream their song.
Melodies so cold and bleak,
Nursery rhymes gone wrong.

Come! Gather around!
Sing the tune of wailing moons.
Dance the flamenco of cackling stars.
